Discussion: Layered fill consisting of 3 (plaster) floors + grey clayish make-up, with a midden-ish dump on top which was quite varied. S end had a thin (2cm) reddish brick frag overlying grey clayey layer; N end had plastered frags mixed with heavy soil and midden. Comes down onto a plastered floor abutting wall plaster in the S half. The floor plaster is very fugitive. The overlying grey packing/make-up sticks to it, and the plaster is generally only 1mm thick or less. The S edge of 1035 underlies the N edge of 1030 - just a couple of cm. |
