| Discussion: Plaster over oven 443. This layer of plaster lips up onto the wall at the northern end & fragments of plaster remain on the wall elsewhere - see sketch. This plaster is the same colour + consistency and may have been part of the same plastering event. The oven which was cut into wall 401 has been plastered over and the remaining cut into the wall plastered + possibly reused as a niche. |
