| Discussion: Same as 4321, 4439, 4440, 4441- but separated to allow collection of finds from fill of crawl hole 490. |

| Recognition: Recognised because layer 4441 continued eastward into wall 484 when it was being excavated. Investigated showed edges to this fill on western side of wall. Then the virtually whole profile of this crawl hole 490 was seen and recognised for what it was on southern niche of wall 484. Layer same as 4321, 4439, 4440, 4441. |
