Discussion: (4505) was a narrow band of material, abutting wall F.467 to the E., and below wall collapse deposit (4753). possibly a remnant of 'make-up'/levelling/bedding for floor layers but more likely collapse and erosion 
 
Consistency: firm 
Colour: light brown 
Texture: sandy silt ( approx. 20% v. fine sand, 10-20% clay ) 
Bedding: massive 
Inclusions: mod. charcoal fl. <2%, mod., v.small , white siliceous plant remains <5% v.occ. small to med., bone and burnt bone, v.occ., med. clay ball 
Post-depositional Features: trunc. at N by Mellart excavation 
Basal Boundary: anthropic, abrupt to gradual, distinct to faint, fairly smooth toward N. (approx. 0.80m to N. limit ), otherwise wavy
