This unit is comprised of courses of brick and mortar and a bit of rubble ( or crumbled brick) on top and against F.156. a colomn supporting the screen wall. We were able to discern this unit from F 156 easliy because F 156 has red painted plater on top and white plaster on either dise i.e. west past facing side and this unit is much more crumbly and jumbled compared tot he very nice and dense bricks of F 156.

S8. Microfona in the fill ( a layer of 3-4 cm) that is between the house floor and the rubble around the pilars ( F.154) . There are 2 possiblities: 1) deliberately put there before the pillar shored up. 2) part of the burned horizon that was at one point on the floor of the entire space 158

Unit closed today after removal bof last layer ( frog layer) at which point a nice brick was seen. A new unit will be pened for further investigation of F.156. Photos taken after clear up.
