Discussion: Layer is described as a midden layer of domestic waste dumps. Lenses of charcoal and ash etc., suggest a number of events probably associated with oven and/or hearth cleaning. This layer covers a burnt brick layer. 
 
Recognition: Uniform colour of mid grey with reddish brown. Visable in truncated north section.
