Discussion: 4787 was a fairly pure, sandy deposit that is probably the remains of the superstructure of the oven F529. Its northern end was cut by the later fire installation F524. It was not directly related to the burnt deposits to its west (4768 and 4769) but did seem to curve around them. A scar in the plaster on the wall arching upwards towards these burnt deposits also supports this interpretation.
