Discussion: This is another layer in sequence of deposits associated with the roof. The collected material comes from the W part only as the stratigraphy of remaining part of the strip becomes increasingly complicated. It is suitable for further analysis.
It was also excavated in season 2003 and it was then visible on the W from the roof as an alongated layer with mid x- 981.6 and mid y - 992.00 and dimensions1.48 x 0.44m. The samples S1 and S2 were taken then.

The second part of this unit was excavated in 2008 season (23.08.2008).
The extension of the unit has changed. Its dimensions were: 6.10 x 0.80 x 0.35.
Here is a description of this unit from 2008:
This is an infill located against a solid N-S wall (17683). It was deposited underneath midden rec as u. 7841. It comprised rubbished material, including many constructional elements. Among the inclusions small fr of a red palster were also noticed.
The western basal boundary of the unit was arbitrarly defined as cut (17666) was visible. It appeared to be a foundation cut of the above mentioned wall and its infill (17665) seemed to be the same deposit as 7840, as there was no difference between them in terms of their consistency and texture.
