| When a Unit is excavated a set of samples are taken from it, this means that parts of the unit are placed in special containers and labelled. These samples are saved for analytical purposes and are used by the Specialists on the site to discover more about the activity and the environment surrounding the Unit when it was exposed. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
