Discussion: Compacted burnt room fill / collapse, inclusions of burnt brick and plaster. It is likely that the layer represents burning collapse demolition. Close to the base of this layer, a cluster consisting of 2 obsidian points were uncovered as was a third point c.20cm to the east. A bone point was also found to the north. The layer seals a cluster of Emmer Wheat underneath that has been charred through a process of slow burning, suggesting that the collapse was at least smouldering when it fell. |
