Unit 8644

Discussion: Two bottom layers of mortar - taken as a separate unit - runs around all the four walls of our beautiful house.
Lots of charcoal in the mortar as if it had been mixed with midden material whereas the mortar layer at the very bottom - just abobe the course of bricks - is darker in colour and likely consisting entirely of midden deposits.
