Site Management Plan
The Site Management Plan for Catalhoyuk was drawn up as part of the TEMPER project funded by the European Union. It was completed in 2005. It is the result of consultation amongst a large number of stakeholder groups and has been discussed with the Turkish Ministry of Culture and Tourism. It is being used as the basis for an application to UNESCO for World Heritage Site status. The plan was largely written by Aylin Orbasli and Louise Doughty and other members of the TEMPER team.
