Incomplete bronze object which has been caste into low arch with three extending features. The profile of the object is 'D' shaped (width 10mm, depth 8mm) with the flat edge being the likely underside of the object. Both ends are broken and one end has been flattened resulting in slight widening of the object(14mm) and decreased width of bronze (3mm). The end appears slightly bevelled. A hole was pierced through this end and at this point the metal has broken. 5mm above the break edge a corroded nail/wire, also appears to be copper alloy, extends on either side. No head is visible on the attachment. At the other end of the object the metal also appears to have been worked into an attachment with reduction in the object depth 5mm and a slightly raised and bulbous area of metal at the point of reduction. On the flat underside there is a slght circular protrusion. Along the rounded top edge of the object is a 'U' profiled extension. The ends are vertical and measure 8mm in heighe. Circular holes have been impressed into the ends. The length of the feature measures 35mm.
