This was a concentration of animal bones (probably sheep / goat) within inter-wall infill [19385]. An evident articulation of the discrete group of material suggests that the deposit was a sort of cache placed intentionally before decomposition of tissues. The above assumption seems to be more plausible taking into consideration the specific arrangement of the bones that were set in sort of pairs. The cluster consisted of: 2 right Metacarpals, 3 left Metacarpals, 3 right metatarsals with attached centraltarsals, and 2 left metatarsals from whom one had articulation with centraltarsal (see photo). Worth noticing are visible cut-marks and evidence of filleting and dismemberment activity. The total number of recorded bones indicates that cache was compound of at least 3 adult individuals.

This is an inter- wall infill accumulated between F.3702 and F.4098. It's accumulation was related with an event that caused drawing aside two parallel walls running E-W. Wall F.3702 aligned to B.104 and constied Northern Wall of space 474 had shifted toward the south leaving a long, narrow fault filled up by a sediment from upper layers. The latter consisted of fragments of bricks and mortars, ash with ovide spectrum of inclusions, including four examples of X-Finds. Within the narrow space restrieted by the walls there were two clusters recorded. First of them was interpreted as a cluster of clay balls - U.19386 and the second one as a concentraction= cache of articulated bones - U.19387.

This was a mixed room fill placed just below the floor [u.19388] of a building from level VII excavated by Mellaart. Its fragmentary preservation made impossible to record its actual character and extension. However the current execution of the unit has revealed that it was compound layered deposit consisted of wide spectrum of different layers and materials such as fragments of bricks and mortars, collapsed plasters and midden-like accumulation. on the bottom of the unit there was easy recognizable horizon of ash, combined with silty-sand and occasional charcoals. In spite of compound nature of the layer it had been excavated as one unit due to its incompleteness and because the deposit veiled actual vertical sequence of walls from several settlement levels (from VIII – VII).
